Emblematic for an art of life
With its sportive and elegant design, highly imaginative stainless-steel case, black dial and rubber strap, the Terrascope has made its mark as a perfect representative of the JEANRICHARD spirit. A philosophy of life that permeates many other models as well.
From the dusty trails, to desert sands, from craggy cliffs, to the grasses of the savannah, from steamy jungles, to poetic fields of wheat and deep forests, the Terrascope is a faithful companion to those for whom life is a daily adventure on all the planet’s highways and byways.
The cushion-style case combined with a large round bezel communicates a resolutely modern, original and masculine look. It exudes independence – coupled with the resilience and robustness of a sophisticated construction made up of many components and water-resistant to 100 metres. The ingenious contrast between the “vertical satin-brushed” finishing (on the flat parts of the middle case and the lateral bars) and polished finishing (on the bezel) plays with the light and underscores the classy daredevil look of these timepieces.
The automatic mechanical movement maintains timekeeping with precision and reliability.
Applique indexes enhance the black vertical satin-brushed dial. The hour and minute hands are designed in contrasting forms for highly accurate readability, which is reinforced by luminescent coating. The second hand bears a red tip.
Combining comfort and a sportive feel, the black rubber strap is decorated with a relief of narrow stripes, a JR signature, and a folding clasp.
Besides this iconic model – a genuine symbol of JEANRICHARD’s rebirth – the Terrascope comes with a large choice of dials and leather bracelets in alligator or rubber and in a wide range of colors from sober to daring. Enough to meet all individual requirements. The Terrascope is also available on a stainless-steel bracelet with satin-brushed finishing and polished accents and closed with a butterfly clasp. On some models, the sporty chic feel is underscored by pink-gold lateral bars.
To express the brand’s philosophy of life inspired by journeys and exploration, JEANRICHARD has associated with exceptional personalities. They are everyday heroes, living life to the fullest, with great gusto and happiness. The British photographer Nick Brandt is the perfect ambassador for the Terrascope collection. He is passionate about Africa and is known for his spectacular and intimate portraits of wild life in natural settings. He also set up the Big Life Foundation, which is devoted to protecting wildlife.
