Omega has been playing in the orange sandbox for quite some time, and in 2025, they’ve doubled down by injecting the hue into the iconic Seamaster Diver 300M. No gimmicks here, just a bold, no-nonsense dive watch laced with just enough citrus to get the point across. Two stainless steel models lead the charge: one on a mesh bracelet that nods to the 007 crowd and one strapped down with a bright orange rubber band that practically screams “sea legs”.
The case sticks to familiar ground, measuring 42mm x 13mm, with a proper tool watch posture. Solid stainless steel all around, a screw-down crown tucked behind stout guards and the helium escape valve perched at 10 o’clock in its usual conical glory. Water resistance is rated at 300 metres. The domed sapphire crystal is treated on the inside, cutting glare where it counts.
Dial wise, it’s a black aluminium affair with rhodium-plated skeleton hands and indices. Everything’s filled with white Super-LumiNova that gives off a cool blue glow in the dark. Bits of orange are judiciously placed on the seconds hand, quarter hour markers and that classic Seamaster script under the Omega logo. It’s loud without being obnoxious.
Inside, you’ve got the Calibre 8806 doing the heavy lifting. METAS certified, anti-magnetic to a ludicrous 15,000 gauss, 55 hour power reserve, 3.5 Hz frequency. Silicon balance spring, free sprung balance, Geneva waves, the works. It’s all on show through the sapphire caseback.
The version on the steel mesh bracelet will set you back €7,300, while the one on the orange rubber strap comes in at €6,900. Both are part of the standard lineup, so no need to panic buy or chase limited editions. They’ll be around, just like orange on a good dive watch.
