By streamlining case materials, introducing highly requested bracelet upgrades, and massively expanding its hyper-accurate proprietary movement technology, Grand Seiko has unified its flagship collection into a powerful market statement.
Key Collection-Wide Upgrades
The relaunch standardizes features that were previously scattered across individual limited models.
The U.F.A. Expansion: Grand Seiko is doubling down on its Ultra Fine Accuracy (U.F.A.) Caliber 9RB2. This automatic Spring Drive hybrid movement boasts an incredible accuracy rating of ±20 seconds per year, making it the most precise mainspring-powered movement in the world.
Material Upgrades: Models previously crafted in standard stainless steel have transitioned to Grand Seiko’s premium Ever-Brilliant Steel, which offers a brighter sheen and superior corrosion resistance.
On-the-Fly Micro-Adjustment: Addressing a long-standing request from collectors, every single new E9 reference comes equipped with a redesigned bracelet clasp featuring an integrated micro-adjustment system for quick, toolless sizing.
Unified Crystals: The Spring Drive models drop their dual-curved sapphire crystals to adopt the vintage-inspired, box-shaped sapphire crystal format used by the Hi-Beat models.
