Seiko's latest watch is a non-limited version based on their March 2025 limited edition piece.

You know, it feels like only yesterday that we were talking about a new Seiko Prospex model here on WristReview. That’s because it virtually was, Seiko seems to have a new mode every 15 minutes these days. The new piece is a non-limited version of the Prospex 1968 Heritage Diver GMT 300m watch we saw in March.

The watch has a stainless steel case measuring 42mm x 13.3mm with 300m of water resistance and, Seiko says, is inspired by it 1960s divers. I’ve got to be honest, though, calling this a heritage version seems a little far-fetched as it’s a modern-looking piece to me. It’s a good-looking piece, for sure, but with its blue ceramic bezel and the larger markers on the silvery white dial, it stops being a heritage piece in my view. Again, it looks good; please don’t kill me in the comments.

Inside the watch is the self-winding calibre 6R54, which has a 3Hz beat rate and a 72-hour power reserve, which is practical. The movement is accuracy-rated to between -15s to +25s per day.

On a brighter note, the stainless steel three-link bezel now comes with micro-adjustment built into its clasp, allowing for up to 15mm of extra room, which can be adjusted quickly and precisely.

Overall, this is a solid and robust beater watch that I’m sure will be a great daily. I like that it has the extra GMT function yet retains the diving bezel, so you get the best of both worlds, unlike some other, more expensive diving watches. Speaking of the price, it’s €1,900 and availability will start in June.
