Bell & Ross is a brand that primarily takes its motivation from speed to create high performance watches, whether it’s the exhilarating ascent of a soaring plane or the heart-pounding rush of a racing car, Bell & Ross is all about cutting-edge techniques in the pursuit of performance. Their newest watch, the BR-X5 Racing is a continuation of this tradition, which is actually a follow-up to the original BR-X5 that was released in 2022.

The BR-X5 Racing’s case is made from incredibly lightweight and durable dark gray grade 2 titanium and measures 41mm x 12.8mm. It has a black DLC crown guard and a bezel made from woven carbon fiber. The case is water-resistant to 100 meters.

True to its namesake, the dial is racing inspired with smoked sapphire base providing a peek into the movement, surrounded by a matte black seconds track with a checkerboard pattern, clearly a nod to racing’s iconic flags. Large Arabic numerals in white Super-LumiNova provide effortless legibility and they’re paired with sleek, lumed hour and minute hands. A date window at 3 o’clock and at 9 o’clock is the fuel gauge-style power reserve indicator.

Powering the BR-X5 Racing is the impressive COSC chronometer certified BR-CAL.323 movement, developed in partnership with Kenissi. This automatic movement has the variable-inertia balance wheel and transversal bridge, while offering a 70-hour power reserve.

The BR-X5 Racing comes on either a micro-blasted grade 2 titanium bracelet or black rubber strap, both secured by a folding clasp. With a price tag of EUR 10,900 on rubber and EUR 11,900 on titanium, the watch is limited to 500 examples.
