Introducing The Cyrus Klepcys DICE Double Independent Chronograph Evolution Watch

Cyrus releases a new more palatable variation of the DICE chronograph.

A short while back luxury Swiss watchmaker Cyrus unveiled the one of its kind, Klepcys Dice, for Only Watch 2021, a sporty double chronograph watch draped in bright and summery orange and yellow colors. For those of you who were intrigued by that watch and wished to get hold of one, here is your chance. Cyrus has released a new sporty, but more palatable blue and red variation of the Dice, and this one is limited to 50 pieces each in regular Titanium, and DLC coated Titanium.

Like its Only Watch cousin, the novelty here is the Double Independent Chronograph Evolution aka DICE, which, thanks to the transparent dial, can be witnessed in all its glory from the front of the watch. Cyrus has used blue and red colors to highlight and segregate the two chronograph mechanisms. You get two column wheels, two chronograph seconds and minute hands, and two chapter-rings in blue and red. Apart from this, the dial features a balanced bi-compax set up with a 30-minute counter at 3, and a running seconds indicator, printed white Arabic numerals for hours, and a sloped minute chapter ring on the outer periphery. The semi-skeletonized hands are well proportioned and have been filled with luminous paint to offer better low-light visibility.

Powering the Cyrus Klepcys Dice is the manufacture calibre CYR718. A heavily open-worked movement, the CYR718 comprises 51 jewels, beats at 28,800 BPH, and offers a healthy power reserve of around 60 hours. The movement can be admired through the sapphire crystals on the front and the back of the case.

Speaking of the case, the Klepcys Dice comes equipped with a 42mm wide body that has been crafted from grade 5 Titanium. The use of Titanium helps keep the overall weight of the case low, which means that the watch can be worn comfortably on the wrist for an extended period. The case features a distinctive geometry with chunky angular lugs and a faceted bezel on top. But what makes this watch stand out in the crowd are the signature mono-pusher crowns at 3 and 6, which also feature blue and red rings for ease of use.

The new Cyrus Klepcys Dice is accompanied by a grey Cordura strap and an additional black rubber strap. The regular Titanium variant would retail for EUR 31,000, whereas the DLC variation would cost EUR 32,000
