Here is the Baselworld preview on the stunning new piece from Omega, Seamaster Planet Ocean GMT. It seems to me that this is the one I have been waiting for. Omega has announced that this new addition to the Seamaster Planet Ocean lineup will carry the GoodPlanet name. Goodplanet is an ocean conservation group that Omega has worked with since 2011. The steel case measures 43.5mm and is as usual 600 m water resistance, ticking inside this beauty is the Omega co-axial caliber 8605 with Silicon balance spring that holds a power reserve of 60 hours. The watch is available on a steel bracelet and rubber strap with white “stitches” that goes really well with the blue rubber.
The new Seamaster Planet Ocean GMT features a dark blue dial with orange accents, including the orange center-set GMT hand.
This is not the first time we see a Planet Ocean with orange colors all over, in fact I´m not a huge fan of the previous models with orange, but this piece has the perfect amount orange color.
Omega has always had a place in my heart thanks to their watches, that carries distinctive design and strong character. This watch will definitely be included in my collection.
Nice work Omega!
