Watch you may or may not realise is that the Chrono24 website does currently have their own apps for iPhone and Android devices, but now they’re releasing a newer, slicker design that promises to be more effective and easy to use than ever. Also, I’m really sorry about my awful puns, I don’t know where they keep coming from.
What you may also not know is that we here at WristReview are partnered with Chrono24, we love the services they offer and the ease of use of the site and the apps, and in return, they share our articles. In case you hadn’t noticed, there’s been a Chrono24 banner on our website for a while now and a link in our Links page. While I find the current Chrono24 app on my phone is great and looks clean and follows the current colours, however, it’s been around for a while now and hasn’t really changed much. Some would cry out that if it ain’t broken they shouldn’t fix it. Well, WristReview has had its share of redesigns over the years and it’s worked really well for us, so we congratulate Chrono24 for deciding to have their own spruce up.
The new app was released on the App Store on the 15th of March and will be on the Google PlayStore soon for those who feel they are being left out because they have an Android device, I prefer to think that we need extra special service!
The new app is designed to be fluid in both design and performance and makes use of the array of functions that Chrono24 offers on their website. You can start your own search for your dream watch, catch up with the latest news from the watch industry, you can browse through a list of horology brands to gain some inspiration and access myChrono24, the section dedicated to looking after your digital account with the website.
Tapping on the News section brings up Chrono24’s feed from popular watch blogs, along with ourselves and Chrono24’s own magazine, some of the blogs featured include aBlogToWatch, Deployant and WatchTime.
If you haven’t checked it out yet on your iPhone but you do have the current app then you’ll need to update it from the App Store. If you don’t have it yet then all I can ask is why not?! Chrono24 offers a huge range of timepieces for a fantastic price, it’s also available in almost 30 different languages, so there’s no excuse not to get this new update.
