IWC brought one of the most varied lineups to Watches & Wonders 2026, spanning futuristic pilot instruments, integrated sports watches, and advanced perpetual calendars. Here are the standout novelties from this year’s collection, combining technical innovation, new materials, and some of the most interesting executions in the brand’s current catalogue.
IWC Pilot’s Venturer Vertical Drive IW328601
One of the most original functional launches of the fair, the Pilot’s Watch Venturer Vertical Drive was created with commercial space station company Vast and built from the ground up for the demanding environment of space. The white ceramic and Ceratanium case measures 44.3mm x 16.7mm, with 100m water resistance and a system engineered for zero gravity use. The main case is crafted from white zirconium oxide ceramic, a material with a Vickers hardness rating second only to diamond, chosen for its durability and resistance to harsh conditions. Material selection, together with the FKM rubber strap, was designed to remain stable during temperature swings from 100 C in direct sunlight to – 150 C in the shade. Unlike many so-called space watches adapted from aviation models, this piece was type tested at Vast’s California headquarters specifically for the Haven 1 commercial space station environment. It was subjected to forces up to 10g, exceeding the roughly 4g acceleration of a rocket ascent, while engineers also verified material compatibility and functionality under vacuum and pressure changes.
Instead of a traditional crown, the innovative rotating bezel system controls winding and all-time adjustments, allowing operation while wearing a space suit with gloves. A convex sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides protects the dial and is secured against displacement caused by sudden drops in air pressure.
The matte black dial includes date display, second local time indication, mission time display, and luminous hands for maximum clarity. Inside is the in-house Calibre 32722 automatic movement beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour, with 189 components, 21 jewels, a Pellaton winding system, and a 120-hour power reserve. One of these will set you back EUR 36,000 / USD 39,000.
IWC Ingenieur Automatic 35 IW324907
The Ingenieur Automatic 35 expands one of IWC’s most popular collections into a more wearable size while keeping the Gérald Genta inspired design language intact. The stainless steel case measures 35mm x 9.4mm, with an integrated bracelet, sapphire crystal front and back, screw-down crown, and 100m water resistance.
The blue dial features the signature grid texture, applied hour markers, and luminous baton hands. The slimmer proportions give the watch a more versatile and balanced presence on the wrist without losing the industrial character of the larger model.
Inside is the automatic Calibre 47110 movement with central seconds, date display, and a 42-hour power reserve. Price starts at EUR 11,900 / USD 12,900. A smartly sized addition that broadens the appeal of the revived Ingenieur line.
IWC Ingenieur Perpetual Calendar 41 IW344904
For those wanting high complication in a sports watch format, the Ingenieur Perpetual Calendar 41 was one of the most complete launches in the collection. The titanium case measures 41.6mm x 13.4mm, with an integrated bracelet, a sapphire crystal, a sapphire caseback, and 100m water resistance. The grey textured dial carries displays for day, date, month, leap year, and perpetual moonphase, all arranged with impressive symmetry and readability.
Despite the added information, the watch remains clean and highly wearable thanks to careful dial spacing and the strong case architecture of the Ingenieur platform. Power comes from the manufacture Calibre 82600 automatic movement with Pellaton winding system, ceramic reinforced components, and a 60-hour power reserve. Price is EUR 41,000 / USD 40,800.
IWC Ingenieur Automatic 42 IW338902
The Ingenieur Automatic 42 adds a more assertive presence and introduces a contemporary ceramic execution to the range. The green ceramic case measures 42mm x 11.6mm, paired with an integrated ceramic bracelet with a sapphire crystal and 100m water resistance. The textured green dial retains the familiar Ingenieur geometry, while contrasting hands and markers maintain strong legibility.
Ceramic construction gives the watch a lighter feel than expected while also improving scratch resistance for daily wear. Inside is the manufacture Calibre 82110 automatic movement with Pellaton winding system, central seconds, date display, and a 60-hour reserve. Price starts at EUR 20,000 / USD 21,000. The boldest and most modern interpretation of the current Ingenieur family.
IWC Big Pilot’s Watch Perpetual Calendar ProSet
IWC also introduced the new Big Pilot’s Watch Perpetual Calendar ProSet, centred around a newly engineered system allowing the perpetual calendar to be adjusted forwards and backwards directly through the crown. All three models use the manufacture Calibre 82665 automatic movement with Pellaton winding, ceramic wear-resistant components, 60-hour reserve, and a moonphase accurate to one day in 1,040 years.

The Le Petit Prince ref. IW339601 comes in white ceramic at 42.9mm x 16.5mm with a blue gradient dial and white rubber strap, priced at EUR 41,200 / USD 44,900. Ref. IW329601 arrives in stainless steel at 42mm x 15.5mm with a blue dial, steel bracelet, and additional rubber strap, priced at EUR 38,700 / USD 42,200. Ref. IW329602 is crafted in 18k 5N gold at 42mm x 15.5mm with an olive green dial, green buffalo leather strap, and gold folding clasp, priced at EUR 54,200 / USD 59,000.
