Alpina celebrates its 140th anniversary with the launch of its new Alpiner Extreme collection, comprising three models, two of which have been upgraded to feature integrated steel sports bracelets. The cushion cases of the watches are made of brushed and polished stainless steel, with six exposed screws on the bezel and rugged lines. The crown is guarded, screw-down, and features a dial-matching rubber grip. Water-resistant up to 200 meters, all three models feature a triangle pattern on the dial, a sloped flange with minute marks, and applied indices and hands treated with Super-LumiNova.

The Regulator model has a 41mm x 42.5mm cushion case, with a blue dial and gray sun-brushed sub-dials. The Automatic models also measure the same, albeit a tad thinner and come in either gray or blue dials. The AL-525 caliber powers the Automatic models, offering central hours, minutes, hacking seconds and date. The Regulator is powered by the AL-650 caliber, offering hours, minutes and seconds in regulator setup. All models feature a stainless steel integrated bracelet with a folding clasp. The Regulator model is limited to 888 pieces, while the Automatics are not limited. The Alpina Alpiner Extreme collection is priced at EUR 2,450 for the Regulator and EUR 1,995 for the Automatics.
