Audemars Piguet has unveiled a new watch for Only Watch 2023, a special edition of the Royal Oak Selfwinding Flying Tourbillon Openworked in white ceramic and blue.
The 41mm case is made from white ceramic, which is highly scratch-resistant and gives the watch a distinctive look. The movement is also open-worked, with blued titanium bridges and plates, which provides a glimpse of the intricate mechanics of the watch. The dial is also blue, with white gold applied hour-markers and hands.
Beneath the mesmerizing exterior lies the beating heart of the watch—the Calibre 2972, an automatic movement with a 65-hour power reserve. It is fitted with a white ceramic bracelet with an AP folding clasp in blackened stainless steel.
The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Selfwinding Flying Tourbillon Openworked comes with a white ceramic bracelet and an AP folding clasp in blackened stainless steel. It’s a limited edition of one watch, and is estimated to sell for between CHF 300,000 and CHF 350,000. It will be auctioned off at Only Watch 2023, a charity auction that raises money for research into Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
