Mido’s Multifort collection has stood the test of time since its introduction in 1934. This iconic collection has become a symbol of Swiss watchmaking history and a true classic among watch connoisseurs. The Multifort line has undergone numerous iterations and modifications throughout its illustrious history, with each iteration offering something new to its loyal fans. The latest addition to the collection is the Mido Multifort M Chronometer, which has been designed to take things up a notch.

With a rich heritage and timeless design, the Multifort collection has always been a watchmaker’s delight. The Mido Multifort M Chronometer continues the tradition of excellence with a striking case design. The 3-part 42mm case is made of high-grade 316L stainless steel and features a mix of polished and satin-brushed finishes. The case is completed with steel tension and a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both sides. The water resistance is rated at 100m.

The green dial of the Mido Multifort M Chronometer is a true work of art with deep vertical satin finishing. The gradient effect on the Mido Multifort M Chronometer’s dial is truly eye-catching, seamlessly blending from a vivid green hue to deep black as we move from the center to the outer periphery of the dial, it adds a touch of style to an already stunning timepiece. The double-sided hour and minute hands are covered with beige Super-LumiNova which has green emission for maximum legibility and style. The flat diamond-cut seconds hand traverse over the characteristic round indexes and are the finishing touches on the dial. The rectangular day and date window is found at 3 o’clock.

The Mido Multifort M Chronometer is powered by the Mido Caliber 80 (ETA C07.821 base, Powermatic 80), a COSC-certified chronometer that is both accurate and reliable. With an accuracy of −4/+6 seconds thanks to a silicon balance spring, this automatic movement has bidirectional winding, 25 jewels, 21,600 vibrations/hour, and an impressive 80-hour power reserve. It displays hours, minutes, seconds, and day-date.

Mido Multifort M Chronometer comes on a  3-link stainless steel bracelet with a folding clasp and an easy-change system. Part of the permanent collection, the watch is priced reasonably at CHF 1,240 / EUR 1,340.
