Vacheron Constantin, one of the world’s most prestigious watchmakers, has recently unveiled the latest addition to their Overseas collection, the Vacheron Constantin Overseas Moon Phase Retrograde Date. The 41mm stainless steel case, with its six-sided bezel and polished and satin-brushed surfaces, presents a modern and striking look, which is enhanced by the fluted crown.

The blue lacquered dial has a velvet-finish flange and a sunburst satin-brushed center. The 18K white gold indices and hands, along with the blue-tinted retrograde date hand, have Super-LumiNova treatment. The moon phase display at 6 o’clock reveals the age of the moon with an aperture graduated from 0 to 29 1/2.

Powered by the self-winding Caliber 2460 R31L/2, the 275-component movement offers a power reserve of 40 hours, and its 22K gold oscillating weight is visible through the sapphire caseback. The watch setting, including time, date and moon phase correction, is performed through the crown. The stainless steel bracelet comes with two additional straps in calfskin leather and blue rubber, providing interchangeable options, and is closed with a triple-blade folding clasp with push-pieces and a comfort-adjustment system.

Although the price and availability of the watch are yet to be confirmed, the Vacheron Constantin Overseas Moon Phase Retrograde Date will be exclusively sold at Vacheron Constantin boutiques.
