The famous Girard-Perregaux 1966 Collection welcomes a newcomer that boasts three illustrious horological complications – Minute Repeater, Annual Calendar and Equation of Time. The watch presents all its functions with an outstanding sense of aesthetic balance. The heart of the timepiece is a mechanical movement built from over 400 components.

The new Girard-Perregaux 1966 Minute Repeater, Annual Calendar & Equation of Time watch demonstrates a perfectly proportioned dial embellished with a silvered sunburst decor. The applique hour-markers with sharply defined profiles are rendered in solid gold. You will notice the imposing date display positioned at 1:30. The month is featured in a window found opposite the date display, completing the Annual Calendar function. It needs just one adjustment of the date per year, in February – it is easy to do with help of the crown.

The Equation of Time function is presented at 4:30 via a cam featured in relief on a wheel that performs one revolution per year. This function informs the watch’s owner about the difference between civil time and solar time, as the solar day is different in duration from day to day.     • a curved case-back for increasing the volume of air between the movement and the case, and improving the sound production;
    • a diamond-polished bottom of the case-back for reducing acoustic interference.                      
You can drop a glance at the manually wound mechanical caliber beating inside via the sapphire crystal case-back. The brand’s E09-0003 movement (419 components, 48 jewels), operating at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour, provides 100 hours of power-reserve. For utmost aesthetic refinement, the balance-cock demonstrates a semi-arrow shape inspired by the Golden Bridges, Girard-Perregaux’s emblematic signature. The 42 mm case of the new Girard-Perregaux watch is fashioned in polished pink gold. Its face is protected by a domed anti-reflective sapphire crystal. The timepiece is 30-meter water-resistant.
