American rapper and songwriter Travis Scott and Audemars Piguet reveal the long-awaited Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar Openworked ‘Cactus Jack’ Limited Edition, a fusion of Audemars Piguet’s Swiss watchmaking expertise and the unique style of the American rapper from Houston, marking a pivotal moment in the convergence of haute horology and pop culture.

This new ‘Cactus Jack’ watch boasts a chocolate brown ceramic case, named by Travis Scott in his latest album and a first for Audemars Piguet, with dimensions measuring 41mm x 9.9mm.

The case retains the iconic octagonal bezel secured by white gold hexagonal screws and features a sapphire dial, offering a mesmerizing view of the openworked Calibre 5135 movement.

The dial of this limited edition is a canvas of artistic details. Typography inspired by Travis Scott’s hand-drawn model adorns the calendar and week indications, while the day subdial takes the shape of the Cactus Jack logo. The moon phase display at six o’clock takes a unique turn, showcasing the emblematic smiley face with its mouth sewn shut, glowing blue in the dark.

Powering the watch is the self-winding Calibre 5135, a 38 jewels movement that combines the thinness of the Calibre 2121 with a perpetual calendar function. It offers 40 hours of power reserve.

A distinctive textured calfskin leather strap in brown with a pink gold folding clasp, engraved with both Audemars Piguet and Travis Scott signatures, completes the ensemble. Limited to 200 pieces and priced at $201,000, a portion of the proceeds are dedicated to a charity project of Travis Scott’s choice.
