By Osheen Arakelian

Las Vegas, the City of Sin, the gambling capital of the world… also the location of the Hublot Las Vegas Boutique. It is considered by many to be THE go-to destination for exclusive boutique edition timepieces and also general limited edition timepieces to come from the stables at Hublot. In recent times there have been many a timepiece that has been seen at the illustrious boutique including but not limited to the Las Vegas Big Bang Ferrari Limited Edition and also the Las Vegas King Power Limited Edition, both of which were a great success for Hublot. Today, however, we don’t have a Big Bang or a King Power, but a Classic Fusion Aero.

The Hublot Classic Fusion Aero Las Vegas Limited Edition is available in a few different variants with a number of features for those who prefer bling to the more subtle version. However, the one thing that remains the same is the black on black approach for this series. As always the Classic Fusion Aero comes in a scratch-resistant black ceramic 45mm diameter case but has 3 different bezel designs. The standard Hublot Ref. 525.13.FLV15 features a plain black ceramic bezel while the Hublot Ref. 525.14.FLV15 features brilliant-cut black diamonds on the bezel, and lastly, the Hublot Ref. 525.15.FLV15 that has amazing baguette-cut black diamonds.

Finishing off the case is the use of sapphire crystal on both the dial side and “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas” printed in typical Las Vegas flamboyance on the caseback.

The dial is as you would expect from the Hublot Classic Fusion Aero with a skeletonized dial and movement finished in black. The subdials are also skeletonized and completely visible down through the movement giving it real depth wherever you look on the face. One feature that stands out, however, is the number 7 that is visible in brilliant rubies and a signature addition now when you look back at previous Las Vegas Boutique Limited Edition timepieces.

What makes it a standout feature even more so on the new Classic Fusion Aero is that usually there is an inscription on the dial reading “Vegas”, but even that has been given the black treatment meaning the number 7 is literally the only colour found on the entire dial. This is true of all 3 variants and is the real highlight of the dial.

Hidden within beats the Hublot HUB Calibre 1143 self-winding movement with 42-hour power reserve. Each piece is then finished off with a black Hornback Alligator strap with a black PVD steel folding buckle.

For anyone in the area or heading to Las Vegas, you best be getting down to the Hublot Las Vegas Boutique and checking these out before they’re all gone. For more info, please visit hublot.com
