Audemars Piguet has dipped deep into its heritage paint pot and pulled out a trio clad in the brand’s historically significant “Bleu Nuit, Nuage 50” hue.
Royal Oak Double Balance Wheel Openworked
The 41mm x 9.7mm Openworked features a complete dark blue ceramic construction for the case, bracelet, crown, and octagonal bezel, showcasing brushed and polished surfaces akin to steel but with a cooler feel. The dial offers a complex, openworked view of the rhodium-toned mechanics, highlighting twin balance wheels secured by a pink gold bridge, along with luminous pink gold markers and hands, complemented by a “Bleu Nuit, Nuage 50” flange.
The in-house Calibre 3132 powers the watch, providing a 45-hour power reserve at a 3Hz frequency despite its dual balance wheel mechanism. A matching ceramic bracelet with a titanium folding clasp completes the watch, reference 15416CD.OO.1225CD.01, priced at EUR 99,900.
Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding Chronograph 42mm
The 42mm x 15.3mm model features a complete ceramic construction for the case, bracelet, crown, and pushers, with limited metal accents. The dial follows suit with a mega tapisserie pattern and matching subdials. White markings, luminous white gold hands and a date aperture at 3 o’clock offer legibility among the navy sprawl.
Inside ticks the Calibre 4404, an integrated flyback chronograph with a column wheel and vertical clutch, offering a robust 70-hour reserve. A ceramic bracelet with a titanium clasp secures the watch, reference 26238CD.OO.1300CD.01, priced at EUR 85,900.
Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding Chronograph 43mm
The 43mm x 14.4mm Offshore combines a steel case middle and crown guards with a blue ceramic bezel, crown, and pushers. Its mega tapisserie dial features snailed light blue subdials, a standard chronograph layout, and a tachymeter scale on the inner bezel, complemented by white gold hands and indices.
The Calibre 4401, an integrated flyback chronograph with the same specifications as the 42mm model, powers it. This version is paired with a textured blue calfskin strap and a steel pin buckle, and includes an additional rubber strap. Reference 26420SO.OO.A029VE.01 is priced at EUR 42,400.
