Citizen commemorates a century of watchmaking with The Citizen AQ4100-65L, a special timepiece limited to just 600 pieces. This watch blends classic Japanese design with cutting-edge technology, transforming the wearer’s wrist into a canvas of Japanese artistry.

The 38.3mm case, made from Citizen’s proprietary Super Titanium, offers a lightweight and robust feel while being highly scratch resistant. The real star of the show is the dial, crafted from indigo-dyed washi paper. This traditional paper, used for centuries in Japanese screens, boasts unique patterns due to the pole-wrap shibori dyeing technique. A sapphire crystal protects the dial, ensuring clear visibility of the silver-toned hands and indices and offers water resistance up to 100 meters.

Citizen’s Eco-Drive technology powers the watch, converting any light source into energy. The Caliber A060 movement boasts exceptional accuracy of ±5 seconds per year. This high-performance movement also features a perpetual calendar, automatically adjusting the date display until the year 2100. Additional features include automatic impact detection to safeguard the movement during accidental bumps and a power reserve of 18 months on a full charge.

The Citizen AQ4100-65L comes with a matching five-link Super Titanium bracelet with a price tag of $4,425 USD.
