The Citizen Series 8 collection debuted in 2021, introducing a bold vision for mechanical watches with sharp lines, sporty designs, and accessible pricing. Among its standout models, the Series 880 GMT gained popularity for its true GMT functionality and traveler-focused features. Over the years, Citizen expanded the collection with notable releases, including a limited edition gold-coated GMT in 2023. Now the Series 880 returns with the new NB6033-51E, an eye-catching edition blending dual-tone gold, a black-and-green bezel, and intricate dial detailing.

The tonneau-shaped case measures 41mm x 13.5mm and is crafted from stainless steel. The case is coated in both yellow and rose gold, creating a bold two-tone appearance. The bezel, bi-directional and engraved with a 24-hour scale, features a striking black-and-green insert; its dark green segment represents daytime hours. The case design includes a sapphire crystal with AR coating, a transparent caseback, and water resistance of up to 100m.

The dial is where this watch truly shines. It features a unique texture inspired by the Tokyo skyline and skyscraper windows.

Finished in black, it includes gold-toned applied indices and hands, all filled with luminous material for excellent readability. A triangular-tipped GMT hand and framed date window complete the design.

The NB6033-51E is run by Citizen’s in-house Caliber 9054 automatic movement operating at 28,800vph, 24 jewels and a power reserve of 50 hours. It features true GMT functionality for independent local time adjustment.

The integrated bracelet uses H-shaped links and it’s secured by a folding clasp, featuring alternating brushed and polished finishes in yellow and rose gold tones. Priced at €1,295 in Europe and $1,595 in the US, the NB6033-51E is now part of Citizen’s permanent collection and available through retailers and Citizen’s global website.
