Upcoming luxury watch brand PWR Collective recently released their highly anticipated ‘Journey’ product line, starting with their chronograph, ‘Ascent’. This unique line is the first of its kind, created to reflect the evolution of an individual’s journey. There are plans for two additional designs to be released in the near future, with the full Journey line consisting of; Aspire, Ascent and Apex.
PWR was founded earlier this year as a brand whose goal is to empower the world to be at their best, one watch at a time. Their exception lies in their emotional investment into their wearers, encouraging them to chase their passions and to take new steps in their personal journey with every watch purchase.
Each stage of the complete Journey line reflects their corresponding stages of an individual journey.
Aspire – The initial step, having the courage to set forth and discover one’s passions.
Ascent – The climb, where one is grinding and working towards bringing their dreams into a reality.
Apex – The peak, celebrating one’s finest achievements after countless hours of effort.
The PWR brand was created around the philosophy that every watch and its wearer have a unique story. It is through wearing the watch and reminding themselves of how far they’ve come, that they may be empowered to see how much further they can go.
Product concept aside, their affordable luxury watch itself is quite remarkable. The Journey Ascent is made of 316L Grade Stainless Steel and features a case diameter of 42mm and 11.8mm thickness, giving it a masculine look. This watch is nothing short of high quality, especially with its Scratch-Resistant Sapphire Crystal Glass with AR coating. At the heart is the notable Japanese Miyota Quartz movement, known for matching its accuracy and reliability with entry-level Swiss movements.
Following an increasing trend for high-end luxury watches to feature rubber straps, PWR has produced its very own durable Vulcanized Rubber strap option. These are the perfect contemporary balance for luxurious and sporty watch aesthetics. Additional special features include the timepiece’s luminous hands and indexes, convenient for those seeking the time in dark locations. Matched with a 10 ATM water resistance and PVD coated components, this watch is surely built to last.
With aesthetics that are matched by its sturdiness and the company’s unique focus on catalysing their wearers’ passions, PWR is sure to be a company to keep an eye out for. PWR has launched their Kickstarter.
