Omega’s proprietary Moonshine Gold is a significant leap forward in materials science. Introduced in 2019, this unique alloy combines gold with silver, copper, and palladium to produce a paler, more subdued hue than traditional yellow gold. Not only does it look stunning, but it also boasts enhanced resistance to fading and wear. Now Omega has expanded its popular Seamaster Aqua Terra collection with a new range featuring this Moonshine gold alloy.
41mm Models
The 41mm collection begins with two standout models. The first is a solid Moonshine Gold watch with a striking PVD green dial, featuring horizontal stripes and solid gold markers. It comes with a choice of green rubber strap (EUR 24,200) or solid gold bracelet (EUR 42,500), both complementing the dial perfectly. The 41mm x 13.4mm case houses the Calibre 8901, offering a 60-hour power reserve.
A mix of materials is seen in the two-tone, steel-and-gold model, featuring a lacquered black varnish dial with gold accents. It shares the same 41mm x 13.4mm dimensions and houses the Calibre 8900. This model retails at EUR 14,800.
38mm Models
In the smaller 38mm category, Omega offers equally compelling choices. The solid Moonshine Gold version with a deep blue brushed dial exhibits elegance. Measuring 38mm x 12.3mm, it’s driven by the Calibre 8801 with a 55-hour power reserve and priced at EUR 38,600.
The two-tone steel and Moonshine Gold model with a burgundy sunray-brushed dial adds a touch of warmth and class. Its 38mm x 12.3mm dimensions and Calibre 8800 movement make it a versatile and reliable option. This exquisite piece is available for EUR 14,100.
