Paneristi, with a taste for luxury, are in for a treat. The Luminor Quaranta, a smaller and more contemporary take on the brand’s classic Luminor design launched in 2021, just got a glamorous upgrade with the release of the Luminor Quaranta BiTempo Goldtech. This new timepiece combines the functionality of a GMT complication with the warmth and elegance of Panerai’s proprietary Goldtech alloy.
The Luminor Quaranta BiTempo Goldtech features a compact 40mm case. Its iconic cushion-shaped design is crafted from Panerai’s unique Goldtech alloy, blending gold, platinum, and copper for a rich, reddish hue.
The sun-brushed black dial has a sandwich structure with two superimposed plates. The GMT function is shown by a blue arrow-tipped hand. A small seconds dial at 9 o’clock balances a date window at 3 o’clock, with a discreet minute track inspired by early 2000s models.
The reliable P.900/GMT automatic movement, with a slim 4.2mm thickness keeps the watch thin and running for 3 days. Operating at 4 Hz, it features a stop-second function for precise setting and efficiently stores power with a bidirectional rotor.
The watch comes with a black alligator leather strap and a brushed Panerai Goldtech trapezoidal buckle. It includes an interchangeable black rubber strap via the PAM Click Release System and is priced at $25,400.
