Oris Divers Sixty-Five Chronograph 40mm ‘Ocean Green’ Watch

Oris adds a new touch of colour to its classic diving chronograph watch.

Oris’ Divers Sixty-Five Chronograph watch has been a staple in their lineup for, well, for as long as my goldfish memory can remember. In that time it’s had loads of iterations on that central theme of being a classy and reasonably-priced diving watch. For 2025, the Hölstein brand has introduced an ocean green version of its classic diving chronograph.

The watch measures 40.0mm x 15.4mm and has a stainless steel case providing 100m of water resistance, but this isn’t the star of the show, as the stainless steel unidirectional bezel has an ocean green aluminium insert. I’m guessing that the depths of the waters that inspired Oris have a lot of marine vegetation in them which provides the pleasant green colour, rather than blooms of algae or other such things. Either way, the colour contrasts with the silver sunray-finished dial nicely.

Nothing has changed on the dial apart from the green subdials for the 30-minute bi-compax chronograph. I’m pleased that Oris omitted the date window on this one, too. The clear dial has plenty of lume applied for nighttime reading. Behind it sits the Oris calibre 771, which is based on the Sellita SW510. It runs at the industry standard for a total of 62 hours. It’s obscured behind a closed caseback.

Thankfully, this model isn’t a limited edition. It comes with a stainless steel bracelet or a sustainably sourced deer leather strap. The price of one of these is CHF4,000 on the strap or CHF4,200.
