Embodying the essence of traditional Japanese heritage.

Seiko is renowned for its blend of modern watchmaking and Japanese heritage aesthetics and now Seiko is raising the bar for dress watches with the introduction of the Presage Classic Series. This collection pays homage to Japanese culture through textured dials inspired by traditional silk fabrics and the color palette drawing inspiration from Japan’s rich history.

All the models are housed within a sleek 40.2mm stainless steel case with a curved sapphire crystal for enhanced clarity. The slightly curved hands and indices seamlessly integrate with the textured dial, creating a cohesive visual experience. A newly designed seven-link bracelet with a butterfly clasp ensures a smooth and secure fit on the wrist. The watches boast a water resistance of 100 meters (10 ATM).

Presage Classic Three-Hand Models (SPB463, SPB465, SPB467)

These models offer a clean and uncluttered dial layout where a single window at 3 o’clock displays the date. The dial colors are a journey through Japanese tradition. “Shiro-iro” (cream) evokes the purity of unbleached natural fabric, while “Araigaki” offers a subdued peach reminiscent of ripe persimmons. “Sensaicha” takes inspiration from a popular brownish-green hue of the Edo period.

These models utilize the Caliber 6R55 automatic movement, known for its robust 72-hour power reserve, ensuring your watch keeps pace with your busy life. Available in June 2024, the three-hand models of the Presage Classic Series are priced at €1,050 (around $1178 USD).

Presage Classic Open-Heart Models (SPB469, SPB471)

For those who appreciate a glimpse into the inner workings of a watch, the open-heart models of the Presage Classic Series offer a compelling option. These timepieces boast an aperture at 9 o’clock that showcases the intricate mechanics of the automatic movement. Further enhancing functionality, these models incorporate a 24-hour sub-dial at 6 o’clock.

The open-heart models share the same color palette and case design as their three-hand counterparts, ensuring a cohesive aesthetic within the series. They also utilize the reliable Caliber 6R5J automatic movement with a 72-hour power reserve. Priced at €1,230 (around $1383 USD), the open-heart models are also available in June 2024.
