Feel the Spirit of Independence
Fans of Ulysse Nardin will be pleased by the brand’s new Classico Horse watch. Inspired by the Year of the Horse, the timepiece immediately makes one feel its spirit of independence.
The dial catches the glance by its graceful wild horses, galloping with liberty, with extensive plains and mountains in the background.
Ulysse Nardin is famous for its outstanding 25-year experience in the rare art of enameling, a highly specialized, centuries-old craft. The Classico Horse watch joins the brand’s collection of intriguing enamel pieces.
While creating the Classico Horse watch, the brand’s master artisans applied the sophisticatedchamplevé method, with the cells carved with a chisel directly on the watch’s dial and filled with enamel. The beautiful horses and the landscape reflect earth-tone shades of black, white, tan, green and gray created with help of different metallic oxides. Then, the piece is fired to make the enamel melt and polished after the surface becomes cool.
The 40 mm case is rendered in 18K rose gold. It is 50-meter water-resistant. The case is coupled with a leather strap fitted with a rose gold tang buckle. The dial is protected by an anti-reflective sapphire crystal.
The see-through sapphire crystal case-back allows you to see the watch’s movement beating inside – the self-winding UN-815 movement. The COSC-certified chronometer mechanism gives an power-reserve of a 42-hours.
The new Ulysse Nardin Classico Horse watch belongs to a limited edition of 88 pieces. ulysse-nardin.com
