Dear Readers,
It’s sort of unusual for an article to be in letter form, isn’t it? Kind of strange to write, too. Without further ado, the main topic of discussion.
WristReview has been invited to an evening with Chopard where we will look at the formation of a legacy collection and the art of the manufacture L.U.C Chopard. As a bonus, we have been asked to warmly invite our readers to come along too.
What does this mean? Well, Chopard would like to share with us (and you, of course) the new watches it’s going to be releasing under its L.U.C. lineup. If you are unfamiliar with them, this is their very top of the range set of watches which includes chronometer rated Geneva Seal timepieces. An L.U.Chopard model even won our first Tourbillon Trials article, so make sure to check that out once you’re done here.
If you can make your way to London in time for the event, we’ll be very pleased to see you! Please send us your name if you’d like to be put on the guest list, the email address is events@wristreview.com
The event itself will be held, as mentioned, in London. The venue for the exhibition is Philips, 30 Berkeley Square, London ST1. It’s worth noting that this isn’t actually too far from New Bond Street (where all the amazing watches are kept) so it might be worth checking out some of the boutiques while you’re around.
If you are going to travel by train your best bet would be to find one headed for London Paddington. It’s then roughly a five-minute journey on the London Underground on the Bakerloo line with a transfer to the Jubilee line alighting at the Bond Street station, or if you fancied a more casual wander around you could always head to the Green Park if you stayed on the Jubilee line a couple more minutes. Either way, it’s a fantastic place to be and explore so you could end up planning a whole day out!
This not only proves an interesting opportunity to mingle with the elite and get perhaps some hands-on time with Chopard’s most beautiful watches, but you’ll also get to see WristReview’s Managing Editor, Harlan Chapman-Green in action as I myself will be attending.
Here are the details:
Date: Thursday, October 13th
Time: 3:00-7:00 PM
Address: Philips, 30 Berkeley Square, London ST1
Please email us at events@wristreview.com if you’d like to join. We won’t be turning people away at the door if you decide to come last minute, but space is limited and getting your name on the list reserves you a spot.
We hope to see you there!
