The Oktopus II Double Date family was introduced in Baselworld last year. Last month Linde Werdelin officially unveiled the latest edition of their bulky and popular Oktopus II Titanium collection for the summer solstice.
The new bold red beauty has the same bulkiness of the Oktopus II Double Date family, but adds some new details, with a five part 44mm titanium case, two laser-cut date wheels, and the LW04 caliber (Customized Dubois Dépraz caliber 14580).
As you can see, there is the fact that this watch is red indeed. It will go well with your red Ferrari if you own one or maybe with your girlfriend/wife red lipstick. The watch features minutes track around the edge of the dial, and the date disks at 10 and 2 o’clock. There is also red superluminova numerals at 3, 6, and 9, and finally you will notice little red gaskets around the bezel screws that match the red rubber strap.
The watch comes also with a black textile strap, which is easy to swap between the straps, thanks to the easy interchangeable strap system. (Personally, I would love to see red stitches on the black textile strap)
I would easily put this in my top 20 list!
This model is limited edition of only 88 pieces. The Oktopus II Double Date Titanium Red retails for 10,200 CHF, US$10,780, £7,100 without VAT. You can find more information here.
