In a world that is full of round shaped watches, Bell & Ross has carved a niche for itself by creating refreshing square shaped tool watches. For 2020, the brand has now come up with a new variant of its square diver, the BR 03-92 Full Lum. Featuring a vibrant and summery light green fully lumed dial this new watch is ready to be your guiding light in moments of darkness.
Offering good low light visibility is one of the most important attributes of a dive watch and that is exactly what the Bell & Ross BR- 03-92 has been designed to excel at. To ensure optimum legibility Bell and Ross have created a face that is free of any clutter and offers great contrast. To achieve this the metal base has been coated with paint made of green Superluminova C5 pigments and placed on top are black applied hour markings that have been filled with green Superluminova C3. This unique combination would ensure that the watch would glow like a torch in dark situations and would also maintain the potency for a very long time. Time can be read accurately using blackened and distinctive shaped hour and minute hands and a lollipop style seconds hands, all of which have been filled with luminous paint. There is also a circular date window between 4 and 5 that blends seamlessly with the dial, thanks to the color-matched date wheel.
The case on this watch as mentioned before has a square silhouette. It measures 42mm in diameter and has short, downward angled lugs that would make sure that the watch hugs the wrist quite well. The entire case including the lumed uni-directional bezel on top has been crafted from black ceramic which means that the case would remain in pristine condition devoid of any scratches for a very long time. The case is water-resistant to 300 meters and comes with a screw-down crown at 3 that is protected by crown guards.
Driving this watch is the caliber BR-CAL 302. This is an automatic movement that is based on the venerable Sellita SW 300-1. It operates at a frequency of 4 Hz and offers an autonomy of around 42 hours when fully wound. The movement is hidden behind the closed case back.
The new Bell & Ross BR 03-92 Diver Full Lum comes attached to a high-quality rubber strap and production is limited to just 999 pieces. The watch will retail for EUR 4.400.
