Doxa has reintroduced its SUB 200 collection with a new addition – the Doxa SUB 200 C-Graph II. The new model is a redesigned and smaller version of its 45mm sibling, with new dials and an updated case. Despite its smaller size, the watch retains all the functionalities and features of its larger counterpart. The Doxa SUB 200 C-Graph II is an attractive and versatile watch, ideal for both diving enthusiasts and watch enthusiasts alike.
The Doxa SUB 200 C-Graph II case is made of brushed and polished stainless steel, with a case size of 42mm x 15.85mm. The case has a screw-down crown, screwed back with Doxa’s logo engraved, and a domed sapphire crystal on top. The redesigned case has flat lugs, a polished side bevel, a shark-tooth profile on the unidirectional rotating bezel, and a brushed steel or colored ceramic insert with a 60-minute scale. The water resistance is rated at 200 meters.
The dial of the Doxa SUB 200 C-Graph II is available in six colors and has a sunray-brushed finish. That’s also the first time Doxa’s famous dial colors have been given a sunburst finish. The watches come in yellow, orange, turquoise, black, dark blue, and white/silver. The yellow, orange, and turquoise models have a brushed steel insert with a fully graduated diving scale in black, while the black and dark blue models feature a tone-on-tone brushed ceramic bezel insert. The white/silver version is available with either a white ceramic or a brushed steel insert. All watches feature luminous markers and hands, including the chronograph counters, for optimal visibility in low-light settings.
The Doxa SUB 200 C-Graph II is powered by an automatic chronograph movement based on Sellita SW-510, a clone of the ETA 7750. The movement operates at 28,800vph (4Hz) and offers a 56-hour power reserve. It has 27 jewels and is a reliable and accurate timekeeper.
The watch comes with either a stainless steel “beads of rice” bracelet with folding clasp and wetsuit extension or an FKM rubber strap that is tone-on-tone color-matched with the dial and has a steel buckle. The Doxa SUB 200 C-Graph II is part of the permanent collection and will be available at the end of April 2023. The prices range from EUR 2,850 to EUR 2,990 depending on the choice of color/bezel and the type of bracelet.
