Rolex has introduced three new versions of its iconic Oyster Perpetual Day-Date 36, made from 18 ct yellow, white, or Everose gold. These new designs have replaced the day of the week with an inspirational keyword displayed in an arc-shaped aperture at 12 o’clock, and the date has been replaced with a daily exclusive emoji displayed at 3 o’clock.
The enamel dial is created using champlevé enameling and features ten baguette-cut sapphires to mark the hours in six different hues.
The calibre 3255, a cutting-edge movement, enables the display of a special keyword each day of the week and an individual emoji each day of the month, as well as hours, minutes, and seconds.
The 36mm Oyster case of the new Day-Date 36 models is waterproof to a depth of 100 meters, with the middle case made from a solid block of 18 ct gold. The Twinlock winding crown has a double waterproof system and screws down securely against the case.
The new watches come with the President bracelet, known for its association with eminent figures who have worn the Day-Date, earning it the nickname “the president’s watch.” The Oyster Perpetual Day-Date 36 is a symbol of robustness and elegance and carries the Superlative Chronometer certification like all Rolex watches, ensuring excellent performance.
