F.P. Journe has unveiled a unique watch for the prestigious Only Watch auction, the Chronomètre Bleu Furtif. This one-of-a-kind timepiece is equipped with the new Calibre 1522 in 18K rose gold and features a sand-blasted and polished tantalum case and bracelet.
The case measures 42mm in diameter and 9.5mm in thickness. The watch derives its intriguing name from the enigmatic blue enamel dial, which playfully conceals its frosted numerals until caught in the caress of light. The dial is made of translucent blue Grand Feu enamel with laser-engraved matt numerals and track. The hour and minute hands are matte blue, while the seconds hand is orange.
A true representation of horological brilliance, the movement is a new exclusive hand-wound Calibre 1522 in 18K rose gold with direct central seconds. The power reserve (56 hours) and moon-phase indications are integrated into the movement and visible only on the back.
The Chronomètre Furtif features a flat-link titanium bracelet with sand-blasted finish and polished chamfers, specifically designed for the Only Watch event, accentuating the watch’s uniqueness while seamlessly complementing the 18K rose gold movement within. It will be offered at Only Watch 2023 with an estimated price of CHF 220,000 – 440,000.
