Collaborations in haute horlogerie frequently result in groundbreaking timepieces pushing traditional watchmaking boundaries. The latest spectacular collaboration to grace the industry stage is the H. Moser x MB&F Streamliner Pandamonium, a one-of-a-kind performance art piece that seamlessly fuses the distinctive DNA of H. Moser & Cie. and MB&F.
The Streamliner Pandamonium is based on the Streamliner case, which is known for its sleek, minimalist design. The 42.3mm x 17mm case is made of stainless steel and has a cushion shape, while water-resistant to 5 ATM.
The dial is made of aquamarine fumé with a sunburst pattern. The dial is also home to a miniature panda DJ, which is suspended above the movement. The panda DJ is a playful nod to MB&F’s signature panda character, which has appeared in previous Only Watch pieces.
Beneath the dial and visible through the transparent case back is a three-dimensional hand-wound calibre. It has a frequency of 18,800 beats per hour and a power reserve of 54 hours.
The Streamliner Pandamonium is paired with an integrated stainless steel bracelet with a folding clasp. The watch will be auctioned off at Only Watch 2023. The proceeds from the auction will go to research into Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
