Niche watch brands are becoming increasingly popular, as consumers look for unique and stylish watches that don’t break the bank. One such brand is Charlie Paris, a young and dynamic French brand that offers a wide range of automatic and quartz watches for men and women at an excellent quality-price ratio; and unsurprisingly it’s quickly gaining reputation for its high-quality watches at affordable prices. One collection from Charlie Paris that stands out is the Concordia. These watches are all about classic and sophisticated designs, catering to both men and women with a variety of case sizes and finishes to choose from. The brand’s latest release, the Concordia GMT Automatic is a robust and versatile timepiece that offers something special: a GMT complication, all at a very reasonable price point.
BLUE
The Concordia GMT Automatic features a brushed and polished 40mm x 12.5mm 316L stainless steel case that has a unidirectional bezel with a 60-minute scale. The bezel has a luminous pearl at the 12 o’clock position, and the crystal is domed with an anti-reflective coating. The case back is see-through, allowing the viewing of the automatic movement.
BLACK
The timepiece is available with four different dials: sandblasted blue with white accents, sandblasted black with white accents, Dune with matte brown gradient dial with cream-toned lume, and Latitude 0 with smoked green dial with bark texture and cream-toned lume. All four dials feature large applied hour markers and hands that are generously filled with Super-LumiNova. The date window is located at the 6 o’clock position, and the GMT hand is located in the center of the dial. The Concordia GMT is still a dive watch at heart, despite its GMT function.
DUNE
Powered by the Soprod C125 automatic movement that beats at a frequency of 4Hz and has a power reserve of 40 hours. It features the hours, minutes, seconds, date, and GMT functions.
LATITUDE 0°
The Concordia GMT Automatic comes on a choice of nylon, leather strap or a three-link stainless steel bracelet. The nylon strap is available in blue, black, or beige, and the stainless steel bracelet has a folding clasp. The watch is priced at EUR 1,195 on a nylon strap and EUR 1,245 on a steel bracelet. It is available for pre-order now, with deliveries expected in late November 2023.
