Jaeger – LeCoultre is known to be one of the very few watchmaking companies to produce its movement in-house. The company was originally founded in 1833 by Antoine LeCoultre who had a vision to create high quality mechanical timepieces. Every watch made by the brand has passed their 1000 hour control test to be sure the piece is of the highest standard.
I present to you two absolutely stunning watches from Jaeger – LeCoultre Duometre collection. Each technical detail of these watches is given it own place, providing a unique clarity allowing the user to enjoy every subtle element.
The Jaeger-LeCoultre Duomètre à Quantième Lunaire is a timepiece which displays just what length the brand goes to creating a high quality watch. This particular piece has two independent power reserves, one for the exact passing of time and the other for the timekeeping functions such as chronograph and moon phase. The watch includes exhibition windows on the front dial as well a full open case back displaying the details of the fine movement. A collaboration of 40 jewels and 369 pieces creates such a vision of beauty.
