The newest addition to Oris’ Artelier collection, the new Artelier Jumping Hour showcases an unusual way of telling the time. This isn’t the first time we see a watch brand abandoning the traditional central hour hand. But, this is the first in the Oris family to reveal its digital hour through a jumping disk that changes every sixty minutes.
The dial, comes in a silver guilloche with polished Nickel indices and polished Nickel hand. With hour aperture at 12 o’clock, decentralized minute hand and small second at 6 o’clock. The stainless steel case is constructed from a 40.50mm resilient multi-piece and crown, this elegant watch also features a double-domed sapphire crystal both sides and with anti-reflective coating inside.
Inside the elegant Jumping Hour from Oris, there is an automatic mechanical movement 917, based on Selitta SW300. The watch is also water-resistant to 50 metres (5 bar).
The Artelier Jumping Hour is available on a dark brown calf skin leather strap with croco pattern and a stainless steel folding clasp, with a retail price of 4,100 CHF. For more info, please visit oris.ch
