The Rolex owned Tudor has announced a very interesting new watch at Baselword 2014. Here, we give you a detailed look at the Tudor Heritage Ranger. Inspired by a vintage model, called the Ranger from the ’60s, they come out with a re-introduced version in 2014.
The original Tudor Ranger was inspired by the Rolex Explorer, and the modern Heritage Ranger simply styled watch features the latest in watchmaking, while inspired of the classic explorer’s watch. All three versions comes with the same dial with 3, 6, 9 and 12 in Arabic numerals, and the rest in baton markers. A nice addition to all of the retro is the red seconds hand. The 41mm case is entirely satin finished and the crown comes with a beautiful rose decoration.
All models are fitted with an leather strap which are available, in a Bund style with a pad underneath the watch or a darker brown stitched leather strap. Additional NATO camouflage pattern canvas as well.
The Tudor Heritage Ranger features the Calibre 2824, a self-winding mechanical movement from ETA. The Heritage Ranger will retail for 2,800 CHF on the bracelet and 2,700 CHF on the leather strap. For more info, please visit tudorwatch.com
