The new Chopard watch features a 36 mm case topped by a bezel paved with brilliant-cut diamonds. The white dial catches the glance by its seven moving diamonds spinning beneath two sapphire crystals.

Ticking inside is a reliable quartz movement. The lady’s watch is 30-meter water-resistant.

Blancpain Ultraplate Saint Valentin 2013 Limited Edition
Traditionally, Blancpain is launching a new limited edition timepiece in honor of the most romantic holiday of the year. I must say it is a wonderful tradition, and a perfect way to help those gentlemen who are not sure how to express tender feelings to their ladies.
For 2013, the Le Brassus-based manufacturer prepared a special gift which is not only gorgeous and unique, but it is also a true symbol of love.
Blancpain Ultraplate Saint Valentin 2013 Limited Edition watch is housed in a round, feminine case crafted from stainless steel and designed for ladies. The case measures 34mm in diameter and has a beautiful shiny bezel set with two rows of full-cut diamonds.
The case of the new watch is protected on both sides with sapphire crystals. Underneath the front sapphire glass lies a white mother-of-pearl dial graced with diamond hour-markers and five lacquered mother-of-pearl marquetry hearts, colored in a striking red. Interestingly, images of hearts are printed in a liquid form , which, under the influence of temperature, becomes hard. On one side of the case there are more inserted hearts in the same form as on the dial.
The hour and minute hands are partly skeletonized and partly filled with luminous substance for the best visibility under low light conditions. The central seconds hand has counterweight shaped like Blancpain’s logo. The dial also comprises a square date window located at the 3 o’clock position.
Blancpain Ultraplate Saint Valentin 2013 is animated with the Caliber 1150 mechanical movement which provides at least 100 hours of power reserve when fully charged. The self-winding movement has a quite charming rotor encrusted with tiny red hearts which is visible through sapphire crystal case back of the watch.
The new Saint Valentin’s watch from Blancpain is attached to a white ostrich leather strap and boasts circa 0.78 diamond carats weigh. This fabulous wristwatch will be produced in a limited quantity of 99 pieces and each of them will be presented in a white wooden presentation box encrusted with white hearts.
Despite the fact that many of you maybe think that Saint Valentin’s timepieces are just beautiful, without advanced features, I must say that it is not true. Blacnpain, for example, launched some serious mechanical watches dedicated to the most romantic day of the year. This year, we saw the exquisite chronograph with a flyback function, while, the year before, Blancpain presented an adorable watch with moonphase calendar functionality.
