Heritage Pilot

The Best Just Got Better

“If something looks absolutely great, what’s wrong with developing its look?”

That very philosophy has led to the launch of the Alpina Heritage Pilot, a limited edition model which combines timeless classic aviation design with technological excellence and the emotional charm of a handwinding mechanical movement.

How can you make something so attractive even better looking?

Firstly, without touching the movement. Driven by the handwinding AL-435 mechanical caliber, with Côtes de Genève decoration, 17 jewels and 18,000 alternances per hour, the Heritage Pilot offers an exceptional 46-hour power reserve, together with unrivalled accuracy and durability.

Secondly, without touching the case design. The 50mm case, inspired by an Alpina pilot watch from the beginning of the last century, has a hinged case back and a transparent crystal showing off the beauty of the AL-435 movement

So what can you do?

Develop the dial design for lovers of a different but historically relevant pilot layout. New are the 60 minute and the 24 hours scales, the “chemin de fer” adorning the small seconds counter and the distinctive Alpina triangle marker at 12 o’clock. These new design elements give the Alpina Heritage Pilot a distinctive classic pilot look based on the information required by pilots in the epoch. A classic design which is timeless and original.
