Blancpain’s Bathyscaphe has long been a favorite among watch aficionados in the dive watch arena, and the brand has once again raised the bar with its latest iterations with the new Quantième Complet and Chronographe Flyback models, now available in stunning full red gold.
Both the Quantième Complet and Chronographe Flyback come in a balanced size of 43 mm, with the heights of 13.4 mm and 14.9 mm respectively. It’s a size that strikes a balance between sporty and elegant. The cases are crafted from 18k red gold, lending them a luxurious sheen that complements the watch’s diving heritage.
The dial has a deep blue gradient with a sunburst finish that creates a captivating backdrop for the applied indices and hands. The Quantième Complet model features a complete calendar with day, date, month, and moon phase indicators, while the Chronographe Flyback offers a classic chronograph layout with sub-dials for the chronograph functions. Both dials are clean and legible, essential qualities for a dive watch.
Powering these timepieces are Blancpain’s in-house movements. The Quantième Complet is equipped with the 6654.P caliber, known for its reliable performance and impressive 72-hour power reserve. The Chronographe Flyback, on the other hand houses the F385 caliber, a high-frequency movement that delivers precise timekeeping and still a respectable 50 hours power reserve.
The new Blancpain Bathyscaphe models are available with a matching red gold bracelet or an option for a blue NATO or sailcloth strap. The red gold versions are priced at €61,000, while the strap options are available at €37,200. These watches are now available at Blancpain boutiques and authorized retailers.
