With enough gold to make Scrooge McDuck jealous, Bulgari just covertly unveiled two new variants in their record-breaking Octo Finissimo Collection with Rose Gold and Brown Dial editions of Bulgari Octo Finissimo Automatic and Chronograph GMT. Without further ado, let’s dive straight into it.
First up is the Bulgari Octo Finissimo Automatic with ultra-thin octagonal case design crafted from 18k rose gold with case dimensions of 40mm x 6.40mm. It is based on the classic Automatic and is slightly thicker than the past incarnation which was 5.15mm in thickness. The sunray-brushed brown lacquered dial serves to provide a platter for gold-colored markers and hands and polished accents. With a screw-down crown and sapphire crystals on both sides, the case is water resistant to 100 meters. The Bulgari Octo Finissimo Automatic Rose Gold and Brown is powered by the in-house automatic Calibre BVL138, which is a 2.23mm thin movement with a micro-rotor. It beats at 21,600 vph and offers 60 hours of power reserve. It is offered on an 18k rose gold bracelet with a folding clasp. The Bulgari Octo Finissimo Automatic Rose Gold and Brown dial (ref. 103637) is available now from boutiques and online with an MSRP of EUR 45,000.
The Chronograph GMT is slightly thicker than its predecessor and bigger than its companion, it has measurements of 43mm x 8.75mm. Like Octo Finissimo Automatic, it’s also crafted with 18k rose gold with a brushed satin-polished case and polished accents. The brushed brown and gold chronograph dial hosts the luminous hands and applied markers in a gold tone. The beige-gold printings are on the dial perfectly match the case to provide aesthetic refinement. The screw-down crown and sapphire crystals on both sides helps the water resistance rating of 100 meters. This chronograph model is powered by the in-house Calibre BVL318, which is actually the thinnest chronograph movement ever. It is an automatic integrated chronograph with peripheral rotor and a horizontal clutch and column wheel. Beating at 28,800 vph, it provides a 55 hours power reserve. The Bulgari Octo Finissimo Chronograph GMT Rose Gold Brown Dial (ref. 103468) comes paired with a brown alligator leather strap with pin buckle and has an MSRP of EUR 36,000.
