Doxa is a brand that is not only known for its quirky and distinctive design but also for making use of bold colors on its dials. For 2022, the famous dive watch brand has given almost the entire Doxa family a white color treatment. The watches to get the white colorway are the SUB300, SUB300T, SUB 300 Carbon, SUB 600T, and SUB 1500T. Let’s have a quick look at the individual references.
SUB 300 Carbon
Featuring a case crafted from forged carbon, the SUB 300 Carbon stands out amidst all other watches in the Doxa lineup. Measuring 42.5mm in diameter, the forged Carbon case of this watch has a distinctive visual appeal courtesy of the abstract pattern and is also extremely lightweight measuring just 87 grams. Powering the watch is a COSC certified automatic movement. The dial, as mentioned above, has been presented in white with black contrasting elements. However, it is worth noting that specifically for this model, Doxa has gone with a fully lumed dial which means that this watch would light up like a torch in dimly lit situations. The watch can be purchased on a white or black rubber strap for CHF 3,890.
SUB 300
Like the SUB 300 Carbon, the SUB 300 comes equipped with a familiar and comfortable Tonneau-shaped 42.5mm case which in this instance is made of 316L stainless steel. The use of steel means the watch will be slightly heavier especially compared to its Carbon sibling. Apart from the case construction, the rest of the watch is identical to the SUB 300 Carbon. The watch retails for CHF 2,450 on a rubber strap and CHF 2,490 on a steel bracelet.
SUB 300T
The SUB 300T also comes equipped with a 42.5mm steel case, which is around 13.5mm thick. The case this time around is water-resistant to just 150 meters. Also, this one is powered by a regular automatic movement which is not COSC certified. The watch retails for CHF 1,850 on a white rubber strap and CHF 1,890 on a steel bracelet.
SUB 600T
The SUB 600T is the latest entrant to the Doxa family. The angular case on the 600T looks quite different compared to the case found on other Doxa watches. The stainless-steel case is water-resistant to a healthy 600 meters and measures 40mm in diameter and has a thickness of 14.15mm. Like the case, the dial on the 600T looks fresh with printed circular and pentagonal hour markings. Even the handset stands out from the rest of the Doxa range. The watch retails for CHF 1,350 on rubber and CHF 1,390 on a steel bracelet.
SUB 1500T
The SUB1500 T is the biggest and perhaps the most capable member of the DOXA dive watch family. The case on this reference is crafted from stainless steel and measures 45mm in diameter with a thickness of around 16.5mm. The watch is water-resistant to a mind baffling 1500 meters. The watch is powered by a standard automatic movement and can be purchased on a white rubber strap for CHF 2,350 and CHF 2,390 on a steel bracelet. Visit Doxa here.
