I have yet to have a skeleton watch in my collection. This particular specimen from Edmond interest me because it is a skeleton SPORTS watch! Below is the full PVD version with rubber straps. The dial is unique in the way it shows time (see the 5th photo for a visual explanation). Design wise, I can quickly identify a “Panerai” like crown guard (not similar otherwise it could be an IP infringement issue!), a bit of Gerald Genta iconic shape for the casing and the IWC Ingenieur bezel studs among others.
The Pôle Guardian is a swiss skeleton watch to meet the needs of explorers. This automatic watch features a 24hr dial, which indicates the true time during the polar night or day. Powered by an ETA 2824-2 with 28,800 vph, 25 rubies and a power reserve of 40 hours. Case is made out of stainless steel case with sapphire crystal with a width of 44mm and thickness of 15mm. Comes in either
bracelet or rubber strap. Water resistant 200m.
Below are the other options available such as the (1) PVD bezel and crown guard, with rubber strap (2) all stainless steel casing with rubber strap (3) full PVD with bracelet and (4) full stainless steel with bracelet. Which one is your favorite?
