H. Moser & Cie. continues to push the boundaries of watch design with their new Streamliner Centre Seconds Smoked Salmon timepiece, which has recently been launched as part of their Streamliner collection.

The stainless steel case, measuring 40.0 mm in diameter, draws inspiration from the sleek lines of high-speed trains from the 1920s and 1930s, with rounded curves and a cushion shape that exudes a vintage feel. The case middle features hollowed and satin-finished forms on the sides, showcasing Moser’s signature unconventional shapes. The watch has a highly ergonomic design with no lugs on the case and a fully integrated steel bracelet that gracefully follows the wrist’s line. The case is water-resistant to 12 ATM and features a screw-in crown adorned with an “M”.

The standout feature of the Streamliner Centre Seconds Smoked Salmon is eye-catching “Fumé griffé” dial, reminiscent of the unique hue of smoked salmon. The gradient color and vertical brushed finishing create a constantly changing color palette that ranges from chocolate to gold as the wrist moves, playing with light to create surprising mirror effects. The dial also features three-dimensional hands with inserts made from Globolight®, a ceramic-based material containing Super-LumiNova®, for enhanced visibility in low-light conditions. The dial is adorned with the H. Moser & Cie. logo in transparent lacquer and applique indexes.

Orchestrating the hands is the in-house HMC 200 automatic Calibre, featuring Moser’s famous double stripes decoration and a solid gold oscillating weight engraved with the H. Moser hallmark. With a diameter of 32.0 mm, a height of 5.5 mm, and a frequency of 21,600 Vib/h, this movement boasts a minimum power reserve of 3 days, thanks to its automatic bi-directional pawl winding system and original Straumann® hairspring.

Completing the timepiece is the integrated steel bracelet, extending the curves of the case and featuring fluid lines based on organic forms. The bracelet has a vertical brushed finish with polished surfaces and is secured with a folding clasp with three steel blades engraved with the Moser logo. The Streamliner Centre Seconds Smoked Salmon is cataloged as a special edition due to its unique dial and will be available for one year only.
