Bell & Ross’ 2022 Artline collection marked a departure from their usual bold style, offering a dressier, grey steel watch with a signature square case. Now the brand takes it up a notch with the limited-edition BR 05 Artline Steel & Gold, a beautiful timepiece inspired by the geometric shapes and glamour of the 1930s Art Deco era.
The BR 05 Artline Steel & Gold breaks away from Bell & Ross’ signature square case, opting for a contemporary 40mm x 10.5mm rounded square design that blends heritage with modern style. The two-tone case, made from polished stainless steel and 18k rose gold, is a standout with gold prominently featured on the bezel and bracelet’s central links.
The dial boasts a rich brown sunray finish, which captures and reflects light beautifully. This warm hue harmonizes perfectly with the gold accents. Bell & Ross maintains simplicity and elegance with crisp baton-shaped hour markers, enhanced with white Super-LumiNova for superb nighttime visibility. The hour and minute hands receive the same luminescent treatment, while a gold-toned seconds hand adds a flair of color. Completing the dial’s functionality, a date window discreetly occupies the 3 o’clock position, seamlessly blending into the overall aesthetic.
Visible through a sapphire exhibition caseback is the BR-CAL.321-1, a Swiss-made self-winding mechanical movement with a very respectable 54-hour power reserve.
The BR 05 Artline Steel & Gold comes complete with a two-tone bracelet with a mix of polished stainless steel and 18k rose gold. The bracelet features a folding clasp for a secure and comfortable fit. Limited to only 99 pieces worldwide, the price tag is $12,800 USD.
