The British luxury watch brand Bermont is renowned for their aviation inspired watches that are robust and adventure ready. One such cornerstone of Bermont’s dive watches is the Supermarine collection that underwent a recent revamp, bringing a slimmer, more streamlined case and refreshed aesthetics. Bremont now extends this updated architecture with the Supermarine 300m GMT collection, adding a traveler’s GMT functionality to its flagship diver’s design with three colorways.
The case of Supermarine 300m GMT is constructed in 904L stainless steel which is known for its superior corrosion resistance and polished finish. It comes in a contemporary 40mm diameter and with a slightly increased height relative to the base Supermarine 300m models at 13mm, understandably so to accommodate the GMT function. The distance between the lugs is 48mm with the case design overall sleeker and more streamlined. Other characteristics of the case include a bi-directional bezel with two-tone aluminum insert and a 24 hour scale, a domed sapphire crystal enhanced with AR coating whereas a solid steel back and a screw-in crown helps maintain a 300m water resistance.
The two-tone gradient dials are offered in three colorways, namely the Tundra Green, Glacier Blue, and Ember Red. The applied markers are treated with white Super-LumiNova, the polished rhodium-plated hands have a matching lume alongside the colored GMT hand tip. A nice design update is the reduced size of the Wayfinder logo, apparently based on fan feedback.
Powering the Supermarine 300m GMT is the BE-93-2AV automatic calibre, based on Sellita SW330-2. It’s an office GMT movement pulsating at 28,800vph and offering 50 hours power reserve.
Supermarine 300m GMT comes paired with a multi-link stainless steel bracelet with micro-adjustment folding clasp and there’s also an option for black rubber strap with chevron detail and pin buckle, both are equipped with a quick-release system. The Glacier Blue is limited to 500 examples, Ember Red is limited to 200, while the Tundra Green is non-limited. Priced at EUR 4,600 on steel bracelet and EUR 4,300 on rubber strap.
