A new limited edition of its iconic Big Bang Unico watch has been unveiled by Hublot, this time in a scratch-resistant gold alloy called Magic Gold. The new Big Bang Unico Full Magic Gold features a 44mm case made from this remarkable material, as well as a skeleton dial and self-winding chronograph movement.

The Big Bang Unico Full Magic Gold epitomizes Hublot’s essence, reflecting their creative philosophy and fusion of innovative materials. The case of the Big Bang Unico Full Magic Gold is made from a proprietary alloy of 18K gold and boron nitride, which is known for its scratch-resistance and durability.

The case is polished to a mirror finish, and the bezel is set with six H-shaped screws. Its distinctive shape, sandwich construction, and oversized pushers create a visual identity like no other. The bezel, also made from magic gold, stands out with its six unaligned functional screws, adding a touch of individuality to the design. Unlike its 2015 predecessor, this edition features a skeleton dial without the presence of red accents, offering a unique aesthetic.

The skeletonized dial reveals the workings of the HUB1280 Unico chronograph movement. The integrated flyback chronograph calibre operates at a frequency of 28,800vph. The movement has 354 components and a power reserve of 72 hours.

The Big Bang Unico Full Magic Gold is limited to 200 pieces and comes with a black rubber strap with a black ceramic and black-plated titanium deployant buckle, utilizing Hublot’s proprietary One Click system. The watch is priced at CHF 36,900 (€40,600, $38,800).
