Omega has a long and storied history with the America’s Cup, the world’s premier sailing competition. For the upcoming 37th America’s Cup in 2024, Omega has partnered with Emirates Team New Zealand to create a special edition watch: the Seamaster Planet Ocean Deep Black ETNZ Edition.

The watch is housed in a 45.5mm x 19mm black ceramic case with a unidirectional bezel featuring a white enamel diving scale and a triangle-framed dot at 12 o’clock. The watch is water resistant to 600 meters, making it perfect for any sailing adventure.

The dial is also black, with turquoise accents on the countdown indicator, minute track, number 12, and central seconds chronograph hand. The black dial with turquoise accents is both easy to read and visually appealing. The countdown indicator is a key feature for sailors, as it allows them to time the start of a race precisely. The date window is located at 6 o’clock.

Omega’s Master Chronometer Calibre 9900, a self-winding chronograph movement with a column wheel mechanism and Co-Axial escapement, powers the watch. The power reserve of the movement is 60 hours.

The Seamaster Planet Ocean Deep Black ETNZ Edition comes on a black and turquoise structured rubber strap with turquoise stitching and black ceramic clasp. The watch also includes an additional turquoise rubber strap as well as two NATO straps.

The watch comes enclosed in a distinctive presentation box that draws inspiration from the emblem of Emirates Team New Zealand. It has a retail price of Euro 14,900, inclusive of VAT, or US$ 13,300, exclusive of sales taxes.
