Panerai’s partnership with renowned adventurer Mike Horn continues to bear fruit with the release of the Submersible QuarantaQuattro Mike Horn Edition PAM01676. This latest collaboration between Panerai and Mike Horn provides the Submersible QuarantaQuattro a seal of approval by the renowned explorer.
The PAM01676 has a 44mm x 13.3mm stainless steel case with a brushed finish. The unidirectional rotating bezel is adorned with a polished blue ceramic insert, featuring a 60-minute scale and a luminous pearl. The crown is protected by Panerai’s signature crown guard with a blue rubber ring. The watch is water resistant to 300 meters and even exceeds this standard with rigorous testing.
The vertically brushed blue dial features oversized applied hour markers that are 20% larger than those on standard Submersible models for superior legibility in low-light conditions. The hands and markers are filled with white Super-LumiNova X1 for some necessary brightness underwater. Yellow accents lend the dial a vibrant contrast, appearing on the small seconds hand, the depth rating and the Panerai logo. The absence of a date window keeps the design clean, while Arabic numerals at 3, 6, and 12 o’clock convey the sporty, purposeful look.
Powering the PAM01676 is the in-house P.900 caliber developed by ValFleurier, offering a 3 day power reserve and operating at 28,800vph. It offers a stop-seconds function for precise time setting.
The PAM01676 comes with two interchangeable straps, a blue rubber strap and a blue bi-material strap, both secured with a trapezoidal brushed steel pin buckle. The watch is priced at USD 11,900 (excl. taxes) and is available through Panerai boutiques and authorized dealers.
