The TAG Heuer Monaco has a strong connection to racing, particularly Formula 1. This year, TAG Heuer is sponsoring the driver Max Verstappen competing for team Red Bull, and since this is also the year when Formula1 returned to Las Vegas for the second time, TAG Heuer honors the event by releasing a special pink-themed edition of Monaco, the TAG Heuer Monaco Chronograph Skeleton Pink.
The Chronograph measures 39mm x 39mm with 15.2mm height and with a lug distance of 47.4mm. This black sandblasted DLC-coated case is constructed in grade 2 titanium where the bevelled and domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, elongated chronograph pushers on the right and the water resistance of 100 meters remain intact.
The openwork dial has the black sandblasted finish, the classic Monaco 30-min and 12-hour square chronograph counters have the outer tracks accented in pink opalin, the lacquered hands are also highlighted in pink. The elongated black indices are inlaid with bright pink Super-LumiNova glowing light blue in the dark.
The column wheel and vertical clutch equipped automatic Calibre Heuer 02 powers the watch, offering 80 hour power reserve.
TAG Heuer Monaco Chronograph Skeleton Pink comes on a strap having a combination of black embossed calfskin leather and rubber, with an MSRP of CHF 11,000.
