The Upside Down Blue Feather watch is a result of a collaboration between watchmaker Ludovic Ballouard and guilloché artist Brittany Nicole Cox that showcases impeccable watchmaking skills and carries a message of hope, generosity, and protection.
The 41mm x 11mm platinum case showcases the artistry and precision that defines Ballouard’s work. With water resistance up to 30 meters and a sapphire crystal front and display back, the case offers a perfect window into the heart of the timepiece.
The dial is where Brittany Nicole Cox’s enchanting guilloché artistry takes center stage. A fine silver dial, colored in a deep sapphire blue, hosts a hand-guilloché pattern depicting birds in flight. This intricate design, inspired by Emily Dickinson’s poignant poem “Hope is the thing with feathers”, encapsulates optimism, resilience, and the power of giving. The dynamic arrangement of cuts and facets captures the essence of flight, symbolizing the spirit’s ability to soar even in challenging times.
The watch is powered by the in-house Calibre B01 movement. The manual-winding movement has a 36-hour power reserve and a 21,600 Hz vibration frequency. It has a patented jump-hour mechanism and central minutes.
A hand-stitched blue alligator leather strap with a platinum pin buckle bearing Ballouard’s distinctive “B” logo completes the narrative of the Upside Down Blue Feather.
